History of EliRanda

The founder of Eliranda was motivated by the deprivation she witnessed amongst mostly young men and women in her community in North London. Having started out assisting the children of family and friends who had fallen on bad time, it dawned on her that she could assist more and more young individuals within the community if she devoted her time to it full time. She then mobilised every resource available to her to start EliRanda Hope Housing. EliRanda is a new provider but growing and developing very quickly through the acquisition of properties and employing skilled human resources.

Mission Statement

EliRanda Hope Housing & Care works to ensure that young and other vulnerable members of our community are supported in our safe and secure accommodation. We seek to develop their full potential in order to achieve a good quality of life. We lend our eyes and ears as our service users make positive changes in their lives and support the strides into developing into champions and role models in our communities and society at large.

Our care and support are based on a non-judgemental and carefully developed individual needs assessments and tailor-made support from first contact through to moving on.

We set high expectations for ourselves, for our clients, and provide genuine care and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.

Our Aims

-To develop a passionate, committed, motivated and diverse staff team, with the appropriate training, experiences, skills and qualities.

– To develop policies, systems and structures, designed and implemented with the best interests of our clients as the imperative.

-To provide comprehensive care packages, informed by thorough need assessment which are individually designed to meet the specific needs of each of our clients.

-To provide our clients with support and access to a diverse range of activities and experiences that promote opportunities and enable our service user develop confidence for their personal development.

Our Objectives

-To set clear, firm and supportive expectations so that each service user identifies and takes to a meaningful purpose in their lives, be it education, training or a career path.

-To provide appropriate, clear and consistent guidance and boundaries for our clients where necessary, as they make positive changes in their lives.

-To develop positive relationships with other professionals, stakeholders, family and friendship networks.

-To establish clear and robust anti-discrimination and confidentiality policies and practices, consistent with the Equality Act 2000 and Data protection Act 2018.

-To regularly set operational goals and objectives to measure our performance in all spheres of our operations particularly, in the areas of Client Care, Safety & Security, Staff development, Quality of accommodation, Compliance with Regulations as well as in our performance as a Public Interest Association.
